These earplugs are awesome — being able to adjust the sound with the lever makes them super practical.

I'm very happy with how well these worked. The decibel reduction was very good, while the sound quality remained excellent. The music was LOUD, but with these, it reduced the impact. It comes with several different types and sizes of tips, so you should be able to find the right fit for your ears. I was able to find a pair of tips that fit well and are very comfortable. These are light, and they stay in place. I wasn't constantly adjusting them or fidgeting with them like I've had to do with some other earplugs that I've tried. Overall, taking into account the quality and the price, I think these are a great buy.

Great little earplugs. I needed hearing protection with the facility to easily alter the decibel level on the go. I play bass in a few bands. When performing live I like being able to flick the lever back between songs so I can hear the onstage chatter and back again when the song starts. I also like having one set higher than the other so I can hear my own amp and filter out guitar and drums on the other side. These come down enough to allow me to hear and go up enough to do the job again. So far so good.

I use them in the studio; adjustable attenuation helps mixing.

Definitely a keeper, I still use it in some Loud situation!

Works as advertised, the sound is great. I am using them for Taiko drumming classes and these are really good because I can hear the instructor speaking clearly when we are not playing, but protecting my hearing from the huge sound of the Taiko drums when a roomful of players are smashing them.

These earplugs provide just the right amount of protection; I love being able to adjust the level on the fly.

Was very surprised at how clear the sound was without being painful. Comes with a ton of different rubber pieces so it will fit any ear.

Easy to wear and safe around your neck when not. Worn for two gigs and one rehearsal and so far very effective even on the lowest setting. Seems to purify the sound so no loss of clarity when singing and playing guitar. Adjustable if you have a very loud drummer in your left ear as I do.

Works great and is affordable compared to more expensive custom ear protection products. The magnetic feature is also a plus for not losing them.

The Minuendo earplugs came highly recommended by my son's bass teacher at the local School of Rock. As part of the program, all students wear earplugs for their safety. He loves his pair, and I wound up getting a pair for myself since I'm around loud music often. What I like most about them is that you can adjust the amount of high frequency you let in. Plus, they fit great due to all the tips that are included.

They do their job and sound clear. I've been very careful when using them because other reviews say they're fragile. I wish they were more robust so I wouldn't have to worry so much when handling them.

I did not tweak the description closely enough. I was looking for earplugs — for sleep — not for ear protection. If I ever attend a concert again I’ll definitely grab these earplugs!

A lot of thought clearly went onto the design. Each earplug is clearly mark with R or L. They’re magnetic so they stick together. A wide variety of tips are included, as well as a cleaning tool & a lanyard so you can have them around your neck & therefore don’t lose them. And there’s a small case.

They’re easy to insert. They would not be comfortable for sleeping on your side, but of course they’re not meant for sleeping.

I just can’t speak to how they will benefit you in a concert experience.

I was really impressed with these! I’m the kind of person that likes to blast the stereo in my car. I just love feeling that subwoofer purr, but as a musician, I need to be considerate to my ears! So after seeing some targeted ads for “hifi earplugs”, I was at first skeptical, but decided to give them a try. With so many brands out there though, it was very hard to discern what would be a quality product, and what would be a company trying to make a quick buck off the trend. After trying several plugs in the low to mid tier price range (Etymotic, Eargasm, Zound) I can confirm that the Minuendos are well worth the money. They are made in-house in Norway, and it shows! The quality of both the membrane itself, as well as the presentation/packaging is like no other that I have tried. Soundwise, these things are as clear as an azure sky of deepest summer! It just brings everything down to a comfortable level, so much so that you can almost forget you’re wearing earplugs entirely. They really aren’t lying when they say that it attenuates frequencies evenly across the spectrum. It just feels like you’re turning down the volume, while still maintaining the crisp highs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not perfectly flat, but how could it be? You’re putting a physical object between you and the sound; you could say the same thing for any hifi earplug. Still, these get the closest to a flat frequency response out of everything I have tested, and they truly don’t disappoint. I also have to mention the sheer amount of eartips that these come packaged with! I’ve purchased thousand dollar IEM’s that don’t come with nearly as many tips! And what’s great is they include attenuation details for every tip they have available. These guys went the extra mile in every respect imaginable! And I see a lot of complaints that you pay $100 for something made mostly of plastic, but I really don’t understand this complaint. Would you really want metal at the cost of adding weight? The whole point is so you feel like you never put the plugs in at all! So I like to believe that that was intentional. Bottom line, although I still have yet to try Loop, Earasers, or Decibullz, I can guarantee that you will not be dissatisfied with these! Happy listening everyone!

I haven't been to a concert since getting these but I have worn them in a movie theater where that sound is often very loud for me. The quality is great and it didn't diminish my experience but made it more comfortable for myself. A nice addition to your summer concerts!
